SKATEBOARD
This project focuses on applying an artist’s style to a skateboard design, with my chosen inspiration being Shepard Fairey. Fairey’s bold, propaganda-style art, known for its strong messages, high-contrast imagery, and street-art influence, shaped the aesthetic and concept behind my skateboard. His signature use of vivid reds, blacks, and neutrals, along with sharp geometric compositions, connects visually to the principles of Russian Constructivism, a movement that emphasized power, movement, and social engagement.
DESIGN PROCESS
Using Procreate, I created the woman on the skateboard, with a blissful expression referencing the color palettes of Shephard Fairey.
