Capstone
The last project of the senior year, where you choose a topic that solves a problem using design.
Issue: The issue that I am tackling is how millennials spend an excessive amount of time on their phones instead of going out and living and enjoying life.
Design Solution: I will create an Educational Awareness Campaign, using the 90s Aesthetic to grab the attention of the millennial audience, and also bring more awareness to the cause.
Methodology: This topic will use data collection studies, such as screen time usage, historical relevance, Data analysis, descriptive statistics, surveys, and interviews to collect data on digital consumption. Interviews: to gain deeper insights into personal motivations and experiences.
Connect Where It Counts
“Connect Where It Counts” is an educational awareness campaign designed to address this imbalance by encouraging millennials to reconnect with real-world experiences. By incorporating a 90s aesthetic—characterized by bold colors and distinctive design elements—the campaign taps into a sense of nostalgia that resonates with the audience. This design choice not only captures their attention but also reminds them of a time when personal interactions were at the forefront, ultimately promoting a healthier balance between digital engagement and real-life connection.
